DAY 1 | Plunge right into nature
We are picking you up at your hotel and we depart towards Holbox. There, we take a boat to see unique birds and probably wild dolphins who live in the lagoon. We then enjoy lunch in the peaceful Holbox fishermen town before departing towards Valladolid. Upon arrival, we check in Meson del Marques hotel in the main square of Valladolid and take an optional city tour, stopping at the cathedral and the government palace to enjoy the murals that explain the caste war. We have dinner at the hotel
DAY 2 | Bird watching, archeology and...sea food
After breakfast in the hotel,we depart to Rio Lagartos to enjoy the observation of flamingos and other birds in a boat trip. We then have a great lunch in Vaselina seafood restaurant, before exploring Ek Balam archeological site. Towards the end of the day we check in Club Med Chichen where you can see the Chichen Itza light and sound show before dinner. [B,L,D]
DAY 3 | The Colonial City of Merida
We have breakfast in the hotel and enjoy the fascinating Chichen Itza archeological site before the crowds arrive. We then depart towards Merida and do an early check in at Del Gobernador hotel. After lunch in the hotel, we take a city tour of the amazing colonial city enjoying the cathedral, government palace, market, etc. We end the day with a special dinner in Los Almendros tipical Yucatean cuisine restaurant. DAY 4 | Archeology in the caverns of Uxmal
Today is special and adventurous...We depart for Uxmal and spend the whole day visiting the amazing Loltun caverns, aunique hike that remind us the movie Raiders of the lost ark... After a very typical lunch in Hacienda Ochil (a unique place where you can see the amazing sisal factories), we head back to Merida and have dinner in Los Panchos restaurant. [B,L,D]
DAY 5 | Turquoise waters and pyramids
Today, we are heading to Dzitnup cenote and spend some delightful time enjoying its turquoise color. We then go to Coba archeological site to discoverthe tallest pyramid of the Maya culture in Mexico where the view of the jungle is fantastic. After lunch in Club Med Coba, we snorkel in the fantastic Gran cenote with cristal clear waters discovering the stalactites and stalagmites. We then move towards the Siankaan research station deep in the jungle and check in the research station where we have dinner. You can take an optional night hike in the jungle discovering the unique sounds of the jungle after dark. [B,L,D]
DAY 6 | Hike, bike and wildlife
After an optional early birdwatching hike in the jungle to enjoy unique birds, we have breakfast in the research station. We then organize a bike expedition deep in the reserve to the ascension bay, ending at the research station for lunch. We spend the afternoon hiking to the observation towers to enjoy wildlife. After dinner, feel free to head back into the jungle for a night hike and more wildlife sensations... [B,L,D]
DAY 7 | Tulum archeological sites and the best reef of Mexico...
For the early birds, we offer an optional early birdwatching hike in the area for the last day of our trip We then depart towards Tulum and spend a few hours in the fantastic Tulum archeological site before a typical lunch in Don Cafeto Mexican restaurant. After lunch, we set off towards Puerto Morelos where we finish the day and trip with a fantastic snorkel in the best reefs of the Mexican Caribbean... [B,L,D]
