Journey's End Resort offers the best of all worlds. We are secluded on 50+ acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, yet we are only about twelve minutes via water taxi from the bustling town of San Pedro. During your stay with us you'll be in your own private world, but still close enough to the mainland of Belize where you can enjoy some of the most exciting jungle and ruin adventures this diverse Central American country has to offer.
Journey's End Resort has an assortment of accommodations. Our Ocean Front Cabanas are situated right on the beach just yards from the clear waters of the Caribbean. The Garden View Cabanas are set among palm trees and white sand just a few yards from our Ocean Front Cabanas. The Pool View Cabanas are surrounded by lush palms, bushes and shrubbery sure to give you that jungle feeling. All of our cabanas are individual buildings set apart to give you the privacy of being at home while on vacation. All accommodations are equipped with air-conditioning, mini-refrigerator and in-room coffee maker.
If your idea of relaxation is to simply lounge around the resort and enjoy the grounds, we suggest a dip in our beautiful fresh water swimming pool. Perfect for adults and kids, complete with a shallow wading area to sunbathe. There is also a swim up bar at the pool where you can enjoy your favorite refreshment. Don't forget to try our house drink special, a "Bare Foot Belini"!
At Journey's End Resort you can find a tour or activity for almost everyone. Choose to either snorkel the largest reef in the Western Hemisphere or travel deep into the rain forest to explore ancient Mayan ruins. Visit out Tour and Activity Office at Journey's End where our staff will be more than happy to provide you with all the information you'll need. They'll even book your tour and arrange to have you depart right from our docks.
For dining options during your stay at Journey's End Resort, we offer either a Modified American Plan (MAP), which includes full breakfast and full dinner daily; a Full American Plan (FAP), which is breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, or a Modified All Inclusive Plan (MAIP), which includes breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner daily along with wine at meals, and unlimited domestic liquors and beer. All meals are a la carte and ordered from our menu. We do not have buffet style meals.
Journey's End Resort takes pride in being home to one of Belize's only PADI 5-Star Gold Palm facilities. We are sophisticated enough for the most advanced diver yet understanding and patient with beginners. We are lucky to be situated right on top of one of the greatest dive spots in the world. It is only about a ? mile out to the second largest barrier reef in the world. And because Journey's End is located north of San Pedro, we have the advantage of diving most of the less-visited sites. You'll rarely see another dive boat in the area and most sites are only a few minutes from the dock. The northern dive sites typically provide a lot of spur and groove topography with some great marine life.

We are located about 4.5 miles north of San Pedro Town on the island of Ambergris Caye. When you arrive via your international flight in Belize City (on the mainland) you then need to catch a shuttle flight out to Ambergris Caye. It is an 18-minute flight that leaves frequently throughout the day and we can assist you in making the arrangements. Once you arrive on the island our staff will pick you up and take you to our free water taxi. It is then about 15 minutes out to the property via water taxi. There are no roads that can be used to access the resort.
